2013 Nissan Altima SL New engine and CVT

2013 Nissan Altima
When one looks closely at the car striking him to the extent that evolution has been applied. And is that the 2013 Nissan Altima is not what it was and to say that we take into account: The body, although it is clearly recognizable as an Altima, is lighter, stiffer and improved aerodynamics to cut the wind.

Engine 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder. Lighter, stronger, faster and more fuel efficient (combined with the design of the new transmission) than the previous 2.5-liter design.
Along with the feeling of driving a lot better, the result of the redesign of the new CVT allows an estimated 15 percent improvement in fuel economy if it acquires with the 4-cylinder engine and a 10 percent improvement with V6 engine.

A new generation Xtronic CVT that takes two decades of leadership in continuous variable transmissions and brings a new dimension of performance and good fuel efficiency and refined a new multi-link rear suspension.

A power steering system hybrid that combines the feel of a traditional hydraulic box with modern electric control efficiency

The front seats are inspired by outer space technology - for comfort outside segment. An intuitive screen D-effect information that is easier to see that many Hollywood blockbusters in 3D A Pandora music connection for each of your moods. A padded armrest and a monitoring of tire pressure that tells you when they are full or shortness Integrated rearview cameras that allows us through four points of view meet our blind spots (BSW), Departure Warning rail (LDW) and object movement detection (MOD).

New engine 2.5
the new 2013 Nissan Altima comes with a 2.5 liter engine that produces 182hp of power and guidance to fuel economy. The design adds variable valve timing on both camshafts intake and exhaust, and a new intake system valve opens at a higher level to help maintain flat torque curve. The pair is estimated at 180 lb-ft. Other revisions include aluminum exhaust manifold cover (before steel), a starter most efficient and thin walls of the cylinder head.

Next-Generation Xtronic CVT
As a world leader in technology continuously variable transmission, Nissan has produced worldwide over nine million CVT-equipped vehicles in the last 20 years. Always in the right gear, CVT allows us to combine responsive acceleration and fuel efficiency. And, with around a third less spending less than conventional automatic transmissions, CVT offer less friction and less drive train shock to other parts.

The new systems advanced Xtronic CVT 2013 Nissan Altima raises the standard in class again, providing a driving experience and acceleration rewarding quality that evokes the feel of a high-class sedan.

70 percent of the pieces have been redesigned, which together with a reduced oil pump, a lower level of oil and the low viscosity of the oil results in a reduction of up to 40 percent of the internal friction (as compared to previous design).

All V6-equipped 2013 Nissan Altima models in 2013 used a chain of transmission and paddle shifters that help simulate standard transmission step (with seven levels of simulated gear) when desired.

Along with the feeling of driving a lot better, the result of the redesign of the new CVT allows an estimated 15 percent improvement in fuel economy if it acquires with the 4-cylinder engine and a 10 percent improvement with V6 engine.

2013 Nissan 370Z Review

2013 Nissan 370Z
Following the principles established by the original 1969 model, the Datsun 240Z, Nissan 370Z, 2013 remains a sporty design, technological innovation, fuel economy, front engine and rear wheel drive. Read the full story of Z here.

In 2013 we found no major changes compared to 2012 model. Nissan just worried about some adjustments and new LED headlamps and fog lamps vertical re-calibration of the suspension optional Sport Package.

This year, the Nissan 370Z has the same 3.7-liter V6 engine. This is capable of producing 332 horsepower and 270 pounds of torque. Power can be directed to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission or manual 6. The EPA and Nissan claim a fuel consumption of between 18 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway.

The Z has stabilizer bars front and rear for excellent maneuverability and stiffness. Bring ventilated disc brakes at all four wheels controlled by an antilock braking system (ABS), traction control (TCS), Brake Assist (BA) and electronic brake distribution (EBD).

We also find various accessories as standard: Bluetooth, power adjustments for both seats, sports seats, BOSE sound system with eight speakers and two sub-woofers, aluminum pedals, sports steering wheel with three blades, controls for cruise control and the system sound, cover for the cargo area, remote key, 3 round gauges on the center console, etc..

In addition, there are two packages for an additional fee. The first is the "Sport Package" ($ 3.030), which replaces the 18-inch wheels for a 19 made of forged aluminum, sport brakes, spoilers front and rear, limited slip differential, suspension specially calibrated and the famous system SynchroRev Match for manual transmission.

The second package is the "Nissan Navigation System" ($ 2,150), which features a navigation system based on a hard disk, 7 "display with 7 colors, interface for USB and iPod audio via Bluetooth, traffic reports and climate, rear video camera.

The 2013 Nissan 370Z offers everything you expect from a sports car. Its engine responds quite well accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, its standard suspension provides excellent maneuverability. Furthermore, the more rigid suspension, optionally wheels and optional 19 "sacrifice some comfort, but improve performance of the vehicle.

The 370Z Tourings base price starts at $ 37.820 and adding borders both packages invoice of $ 44,000. Although the price may be high initially considered for a Nissan, we must consider that this is a step below the Nissan GT-R, and competes with brands like Porsche and BMW with significantly higher prices.
