How to Remove a E320 Instrument Cluster

1. Turn off the E320s engine and open the hood.
2. Using a socket wrench, disconnect the negative terminal cable from the battery. This will prevent any accidental shocks.
3. Lower the steering wheel as far low and out as it will go. This will allow for more room to work with when removing the cluster.
4. Use the instrument cluster tool to pry out the instrument cluster. Slide it into the lower corner of the cluster and pry upwards to pop it out.
5. Unplug the two electrical connectors behind the cluster.
6. Remove the cluster from the vehicle and replace if necessary.
